Before we know it, the warm, sunny days will be here, and the kids will be eager to jump into the pool! Now’s the perfect time to schedule your 2025 POOL OPENING to secure your preferred date. When you book, here’s what we’ll need to know:

• Pool Cover: Will you be removing the cover yourself, or would you like us to handle it? If we’re removing it, is it a tarp or safety cover, and do you have a specific place where you’d like it stored? If you’re removing your own cover, please remember not to dump debris or water from the cover into the pool.

• Cleaning: We do not clean during a pool opening. If you would like us to clean the pool, you must schedule before we arrive to open the pool, so our technicians can bring all the proper equipment.

• Chemicals: We typically use dichlor shock and a non-metal algaecide to get your pool ready, but if you’d prefer us to use your own chemicals, please let us know when scheduling so we can note it in your service order.

• Water Testing & Chemicals: Please note, we do not test or balance your water at the time of opening. Additionally, we do not provide chlorine sticks, tabs, or other chemicals unless specifically requested in advance. Our technicians don’t carry extra chemicals, so if you’d like tabs added to the skimmers or feeder, be sure to have them on hand or discuss when scheduling.

• pH Adjustment & Water Testing: After your pool is opened, adjust the pH based on your home water test results. Allow the water to circulate for 24–28 hours before bringing a sample to us for a comprehensive test. Proper circulation is essential to ensure accurate testing, especially for heavier chemicals like calcium, salt, or stabilizer.

• Payment: All opening services must be paid in full before we show up in order to officially reserve your scheduled opening date. Additional charges may apply if you do not follow the instructions above and clarify what services we are performing.
